~Wild Flower Hike ~ |
On April 4, 2009, the club had the opportunity to hike the Kentucky River Palisades at the Asbury College farm in Wilmore, KY. Larry Olson, geologist and trail-builder extraordinaire, was our guide. The weather was perfect for a hike, and many wildflowers were identified, including red trillium, bluebells, Dutchman's breeches, blue phlox, dwarf larkspur, and rue anenome. |
